Lasagna noodles
Lean Ground Beef / Turkey
Can (28 oz) tomato sauce
Olive oil
Garlic cloves minced
Onion finely chopped
Chopped fresh parsley or basil
Okanagan Soya Co.'s Mozzarella
Flavoured Loaf, shredded
Salt & pepper to taste |
Preparation:
Cook
lasagna noodles according to package
direction. Drain and rinse in cold
water to cool.
In
a saucepan cook hamburger meat until
brown. Add salt and prepare to taste.
In a small saucepan, heat oil, cook
garlic, onion, and parsley until tender.
Add to cooked hamburger meat. Add
a can of tomato sauce and simmer for
5 minutes uncovered. Spread 1/4 of
the meat sauce in a 13x9 inch baking
dish. Top with 3 or 4 noodles and
repeat twice.
Sprinkle top with shredded Soya.
Cover
and bake at 350°F for 30-35 minutes.
Let
stand about 10 minutes before serving.
